Welcome to the latest Release Updates post.

To our users that are also mothers, I wish you all a happy Mother's Day this sunday and perhaps may be one of the only days of the year I hope that you aren't having to use StoreFeeder so much and are able to kick your feet back and relax.

it's been a busy first month of Spring so far at StoreFeeder and I hope you find some of the features we've worked on to be useful in one way or another. Without further ado, lets Spring into it!

As per usual, our developers have been working hard to bring you an exciting update this month. There has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:

Amazon Minimum Order Quantity

Good news! You can now control the minimum order quantity on your Amazon listings, if it's something that you use or were thinking of using.

If you haven't heard of the minimum order quantity (MOQ) option on Amazon, it's a tool that allows you to be able to list low-priced items that are perhaps not profitable when sold individually. You can read more about it in this Amazon Seller Central article if you like.

To control the MOQ in StoreFeeder, simply edit the Amazon listing you wish to change the value on and you'll find the field on the 'General' tab underneath the 'Out of Stock Threshold' field.

There are just a couple things to be aware of when changing this field:

  • You can enter a number from 1 to a maximum of 6 in this field.
  • Customers won't be able to buy a quantity less than what you enter here of this item. At least for this specific listing that is.

Hermes Notification Options

For our Hermes users, we've added the ability control how courier notifications are sent to your customers. You can now enter the "Customer Alert Group" code on your Hermes shipping methods and we will let Hermes know how you want your customers to be updated when you despatch using that shipping method.

If you don't know which Customer Alert Group code you should be using, get in touch with your account manager at Hermes and they will be able to advise you.

Archived / Discontinued Product Audit Trail

A short but certainly helpful one here, we've added changes to the archived / discontinued statuses of a product to the audit trail logging; this meaning, if someone archives or discontinues a product, you'll have good visiblity over who did it and when.

To acess the audit log for a product, simply edit and look on the left hand side of the page, you should see a tab for 'Audit Log' as shown below:

Finally….

There have been some great new features and fixes implemented in this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
